CRUDE palm oil futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher yesterday amid data released by two cargo surveyors.
Data released by Societe Generale de Surveillance showed that exports of
Malaysian palm oil products for July 1-20 rose 5.7 per cent to 1.028
million tonnes from the same period in June.
Meanwhile, Intertek Testing Services said exports for the period increased by 5.4 per cent to 1.021 million tonnes.
August 2011 gained RM32 to RM3,165 per tonne, September 2011 added RM30
to RM3,155, October 2011 went up RM46 to RM3,153 and November 2011
chalked up RM43 to RM3,151.
On the physical market, July South was up RM30 to RM3,160 per tonne.
