CRUDE palm oil (CPO) futures prices on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives
closed slightly higher yesterday ahead of the report later on major crop
seeding by the United States Department of Agriculture, a dealer said.
Cargo
surveyor Societe Generale de Surveillance reported a 2.3 per cent
increase to 1,117,582 tonnes from the 1,092,620 tonnes shipped in
February,
Intertek Testing Services said export declined 0.5 per cent to 1,105,440 tonnes from 1,110,672 tonnes previously.
April 2011 gained RM18 to RM3,378 per tonne, May 2011 improved RM15 to
RM3,345 per tonne, June 2011 rose RM14 to RM3,326 per tonne and July
2011 went up RM14 to RM3,310 per tonne.
