CRUDE palm oil (CPO) futures prices on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended
slightly lower yesterday on a technical correction, dealers said.
The dealers also said the market sentiment was dragged down by weaker
export data released by cargo surveyors, Societe Generale de
Surveillance (SGS) and Intertek Testing Services (ITS).
SGS
reported that exports of Malaysian palm oil products fell 0.3 per cent
to 954,441 tonnes from March 1-25 compared with the 957,224 tonnes
shipped during the same period in February. – Bernama
