CRUDE
palm oil futures prices on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher
yesterday due to a weakening US dollar and shortfall in supply, dealers
said.
At the close, November 2010 rose RM40 to RM3,080 a tonne,
December 2010 increased RM27 to RM3,085, January 2011 went up RM31 to
RM3,092 and February 2011 added RM30 to RM3,091 a tonne.
Total
volume declined to 14,307 lots from 14,397 lots last Friday while open
interest rose to 72,436 contracts from 70,234 contracts previously.
On the physical market, November South was RM20 higher at RM3,090 a tonne.
