CRUDE palm oil futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher yesterday despite mild profit-taking earlier in the day, a dealer said.
April and July rose RM59 each to RM3,434 and RM3,390 a tonne respectively, while May and June gained RM71 each to RM3,409 and RM3,399.
Turnover jumped to 32,390 lots from 24,305 lots on Thursday, while open interest rose to 98,009 contracts, from 94,384 contracts, recorded previously.
On the physical market, April South was RM50 higher at RM3,450 a tonne. – Bernama
