Malaysia’s palm oil exports rose 9.8 per cent in the first 15 days of January, independent market surveyor Intertek said.
A
total of 669,758 metric tons of the commodity were tracked on January 1
to 15, versus 609,874 tons in the same period in December, Intertek
said in an e-mail statement in Kuala Lumpur.
Meanwhile, cargo
surveyor Societe Generale de Surveillance said exports of Malaysian
palm oil products for January 1-15 rose 2.6 per cent to 643,091 tonnes
from 626,934 tonnes shipped between December 1 and 15. — Bloomberg,
