Malaysia’s palm oil exports rose 23.6 per cent in the first 15 days of
May compared with the previous month, estimated Societe Generale de
Surveillance, an independent cargo surveyor.
A total of 620,517 metric tons of palm oil were tracked May 1-15,
SGS said in an e-mailed report today.
Malaysia exported 502,182 tons of palm oil during the same period
in April, according to the surveyor. — Bloomberg
