15 Percent Fall in Malaysia December Palm Oil Export

Malaysia’s palm oil exports fell 15 per cent in December, independent market surveyor Intertek said. A total of 1,206,130 metric tons of the commodity were tracked on December 1 to 31, versus 1,418,302 tons in the same period in November, Intertek said in an e-mail statement in Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, palm oil gained as much as 2.1 per cent to RM2,649 a metric ton to the highest since June 2 today.
