CPO Futures End Higher as Brent Oil Advances

CRUDE palm oil (CPO) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives

ended higher yesterday after the uptrend on the Dalian Commodity

Exchange and higher Brent oil prices, a dealer said.

February 2011 rose RM63 to RM3,792 a tonne, March 2011 gained RM65 to RM3,780 while April 2011 added RM62 to RM3,732.

Turnover increased to 26,371 lots from 22,629 on Tuesday while open interest fell to 87,693 from 90,728 contracts on Tuesday.

On the physical market, January South increased RM70 to RM3,800 compared with RM3,730 previously.
