CPO Futures End Lower On Profit-Taking

CRUDE palm oil futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended softer yesterday on profit taking after a strong performance last week, a dealer said.

November 2011 declined RM24 to RM2,864 a tonne, December 2011 shed RM34 to RM2,897 a tonne, January 2012 dropped RM39 to RM2,876 a tonne and February 2012 lost RM38 to RM2,890 a tonne.

Volume amounted to 30,221 lots compared with last Friday’s 21,641 lots. On the physical market, October South shed RM10 to RM2,890 a tonne.
