CPO Futures Finish Higher

CRUDE palm oil futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher yesterday supported by a weaker ringgit, dealers said.

November rose RM2 to RM3,339 per tonne, December gained RM26 to

RM3,375 per tonne, January 2011 added RM17 to RM3,370 per tonne and

February 2011 increased RM24 to RM3,375 per tonne.

Overall,

volume declined to 23,282 lots from last Friday’s 29,159 lots while open

interest narrowed to 74,328 contracts from 74,477 contracts previously.

On the physical market, November South gained RM20 to RM3,380 per tonne from Friday’s RM3,360 per tonne.
