Palm Oil Industry Leadership Award (PILA) was initiated in 2008 with an aim of giving recognition to an individual, whose leadership contributions, in the form of corporate governance, innovations, policy change etc. have impacted the palm oil industry in a major way and often resulted in measurable benefits for the industry. Past recipients include YABhg Tun Dr Lim Keng Yaik, YM Raja Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Muhammad Alias Raja Muhammad Ali and Dato’ Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui.

This year’s PILA 2011 will be held in Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 5 July 2011.
