Save Jungles by Planting Oil Palm

‘Green’ NGOs like Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth are deeply concerned about the rate of disappearance of tropical rainforests.

They are now mounting a campaign in the UK media, to halt the development of oil palm plantations in Southeast Asia and to ban palm oil imports into the EU.

They contend that oil palm planting is the main factor in the disappearance of the tropical rainforest and for the extinction of much of its wildlife. On the contrary the oil palm presents us with the only viable way to preserve the jungles and the wildlife of Southeast Asia.
