World Food Day 2020

World Food Day 2020

Week 1 : Fry with Malaysian Palm Oil

It’s World Food Day!

World Food Day is an international day celebrated every year around the world on 16 October in honour of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945. The day is celebrated widely by many other organizations concerned with food security.

Let’s celebrate by making healthy food choices and do our part in reducing waste. Choose sustainable food systems and livelihoods. One example that consumers can explore is Malaysian palm oil. It contains vitamin E tocopherols and tocotrienols, making it a healthy and nutritious choice. Even better, the industry itself is being made sustainable through the mandatory Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) scheme.

Food brings people together.
